This antique christening gown is all hand stitched, even the rows of tiny tucks.  I also feel the eyelot is hand worked.  This gown is cotton.  It is white in color.  The is gathered under the yoke.  There is a lacey collar with inset and applicaed lace.  This gown ties at the back of the neck and has a mother of pearl button with a hand stitched button hole.  The craftsmanship on this dress is amazing.  It is in perfect and clean condition.  It is from Europe.  Ca. 1880.  Shoulder to bottom edge....42 inches.  Bottom edge of skirt...72 inches.  Sleeve is 8 inches.  $475.
