This antique box is porcelain.  It is hand painted with roses on the top and the sides.  The inside has a spray of tiny roses as well.  This box has metal hardware with a nice patina, with a harp for the clasp.  This special little box would be perfect to hold an engagement ring.  It measures 1 3/4 inch across.  Ca. 1890.  European in origin.  $235.
